We appreciate your understanding as we work to balance safety concerns with the need to advance our mission. The decision to go virtual reaffirms our commitment to the safety of our attendees, staff, and volunteers--especially those with compromised immune systems--while giving much-needed resources to the thousands of parents and kids at home.
Those affected by COVID-19 are counting on us to help our children learn how to critically think no matter what the circumstances are. Parents and teachers across the country depend on us to provide quality, hands-on STEM education to their children, especially in this time when distance learning presents additional challenges. We are working harder than ever to provide those resources to students with Science from Scientists Away from the Classroom, virtual labs, and videos that allow students to follow along with experiments, scientific conversations, and more. It is for that reason we are committed to continuing our mission by rerouting quickly to keep raising funds for the people who need it the most: our kids.
